-Currently, I have done nothing with my hair and my hair is thick.

-this is my first time going to any hair place to get my haircut, usually I've gotten my haircut from my mom or a friend. So idk whether to go to a salon or a barber. I don't even know the difference =/

Well, you do have to realize that their hair is not only cut like that, but styled also.

You will have to use products along with that haircut to look like their hair.

I don't know how much it would cost. Just go to the salon with the picture and ask them. They're the experts and will be able to advise about how to keep it that way with hair "products".

Pretty sure you want the salon. Barbers tend to specialise in shorter styles.

Salons cut your hair while barbers hack it off.

In New Hampshire a haircut is about $20. It shouldn't matter if you have a more fancy cut. Even if they do have their hair styled, it should be pretty easy once you get used to it.
