Help - can anyone give me hair adivce on a new style?

I would like to change my hair style, at the moment it is long without much shape but is very thick. I would like to wear it down but I work in an office but also go out into fields (normally when it is raining!), so I need to be able to tie it back.

I don't want it short, I though about a loose type of perm but do not know what I would look like.

As you can tell I am clueless.

keep the length and get nice choppy layers with a side fringe or a full fringe and get it really choppy! would look awesome

Try layering your hair.

it will still maintain about the same length but it will give you much more volume and shape. try a different colour but make sure you get it professionally done. hope this helps and good luck with your new style

Well i have side banges and they are awsome! And if you get them long enough you can also put them in a ponytail. You can put them in a lot of other styles! And if you would get a NATURAL LOOKING PERM i think it would look so cute!

give urself a bun or an updo. they look nice, and u can work in them.

Well .. what you could do it have some long layers cut into your hair so when you tie it up the layers don't fall out into your face, also have a good trim about 2 inches- but it depends on what you like.That means you can have it curly or straight, It is up to you if you want a fringe straight across or one to the side, but that also depends on what you like.One last thing is if its very thick have it thined.

get layers, short layers, even if some pieces of hair fall out, just use a bobby pin. layers are cute, and try sidebangs, they are fit for most people and give you face a little class.... ha llol..... dont get choppy it looks weird and... choppy, just get normal layers, people will notice and love them and it thinks out your hair so its not too thick... but keep the length maybe get 1-2 inch cut off so its healthy but mostly keep the length i like long hair. kinda get it like miley cyrus, i dont like like her or anything, but i must admit her hair is gorgeous.
