Does any one have any suggestions on how to do this hair style?

ok i tried doing this style but my hair is parted to the side and as you can see http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=118hzbn%26amp;... paula here has it with no part on the back and has volume. BUt when i tried to do it my hair kept automatically parting and it was as flat as a pancake... any suggestions?

first section off your hair with a tail comb into three sections;

from ear to ear [this will be the hump in the back] and then in the from you section where you want to part your bangs.

then you go to your back section and tease the hair. you tease ONLY the roots. this will decrease damage and still give you volume. Then once you have it all teased you take hair spray and spray the roots to make sure the tease holds. Then you take a brush and LIGHTLY smooth out the hair on the very top, brushing it backwards. This should give you that hump in the back.

I would recommend you straighten the bangs as well

straighten your hair, then separate ur bangs from ur head, put on the headband and tuck ur bangs behind ur ear.

try a light hairspray ..spray it into your roots in the back and scrunch to achieve more volume.
